This may be the wrong forum for this, but it was selected because it is the most viewed forum and this post is critically important to all investors.
Deferring maintenance is sometimes marginally acceptable, but never when it comes to health and safety. Below is a picture of what can happen if a minor natural gas leak is ignored or if the repair is deferred. Note that no-one was in the home at the time and nobody was injured. Also, this is not my property.

Hmmm. I sure hope there was enough insurance to pay off the mortgage or replace the structure
