Yes...it seems the spirit of Gutenberg is alive and well. For those historically challenged individuals, Johann Gutenberg created the world's first printing press able to mass reproduce works of literature. Incidentally, the Bible was the first text rolled off of its press.

Anyway, I was doing some browsing and came across some hype on what sounded like an interesting title called "The Power of Concentration" by Theron Q. Dumont. This little work was supposedly written in 1918 and contains simple techniques used by many wealthy individuals even today. The price tag was a bit steep (because it was bundled with half-a-dozen "free" extras, I'm sure), so I set out to find it cheaper.

Free is cheaper, right?

Well, the website actually has hundreds of titles...most are just great works of literature, but there are a few gems in there for the real estate investor, too. For instance, the little title I mentioned above is (currently) #9 in the top 100 list. And they're all free to download.

Check it out here: http://www.gutenberg.org/

I've discovered at the site an old and interesting tale about land and easement rights in a collection of short stories called "Lessons in Life, for All Who Will Read Them" by T. S. Arthur. It's the first tale in the book called "The Right of Way".

Anyway, for those who love to read...have fun!

Thanks so much for the reminder Keith. The gutenberg project is loaded with classics no doubt. Can you do us a favor and put a link or two direct to the two files you spoke of? so much easier to click and shoot for the crew here. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! Dan :double0sm
