Folks we are doing great here and it is only going to get better with time, we have been online for a little less than three months and have 166 members (granted many don't contribute) That's O.K as long as they know we are here and can help when they need us I'm fine with that.
My request is this, if you know of anyone who likes to contribute to discussions or is considering some form of real estate move, that you let them know of our existence here and again if you have something on your mind, please put it on the boards so we can find a solution or learn something new.
I just want to thank you all for being here, feel free to PM me if I can be of any personal service to you, God Bless and let's have a great New Year. Dan
I'm sure you know that I'm doing my part, but based on my seasonal generosity and your call for help, I'm going to stick my neck out. I'm going to give this wonderful site a plug on the other side of town. (For obvious reasons, I've omitted the site name.) To be effective, mine will have to be one of the first replies to a thread likely to get a lot of attention. Since I post late in the evening, I don't run across a lot of those brand new threads. Someone here willing to donate a few minutes to a worthy cause should do the following:
Post a new thread around 11 PM CST with an attention-grabbing subject line. Something like "Please help!" or "Am I in trouble?" would be great. For the body of the thread, just make something up or use a prior experience even though you know the proper answer. The important thing is that it must sound very real or people will blow it off. I'd gladly post such a thread but, having been there daily for almost 7 years, I'd get pegged in my first sentence. I'll then reply with a realistic post and suggest that, if they (you, hopefully) don't get the answer they need, there is another great site at www.magicbull.........something.

It's 1 am on Christmas day now Aldo, just returned from flying to pick up 12 Coasties to bring them home for Christmas so I'm too late to set the hook today. I'm not sure about baiting the water like this but it could help people so it may end up being worth the Tom Foolery play. Hee Hee have a great Christmas day my friend, and for heavens sakes, take a day off! :SM144:
Who wants to do Christmas when we can work instead?
Thanks for the Holiday wish and, of course, I wish the same to you and yours.
Setting the hook is the easy part. I'm sure I'll be taking some flak from the mayor of the other side of town. In fact, I wonder how long my reply will be allowed to remain. I'm thinking this holiday weekendwill allow it to be there for a few days unless there are undercover agents spying on us here.
Next year will be much easier for me. I asked Santa Farce for 26 hours days in 2005. Can't wait!

Happy Hollidays Everyone.
OKRICHLAND here.
I woke up this morning with the full intent of painting the interior
of one of my properties.
I could have been finished by noon.
We were going to leave at 1:00 to eat with the rest of the family.
My wife said that she really didn't want me to be somewhere else on Christmas morning.
That really put me on edge.
I am the kind of person that loves to work and when I set mind to it,
there's nothing stopping me.
She finally agreed to let me go for just a few hours.
As I was warming up my truck, I realized just how much we as humans
take for granted, even our loved ones.
I shut down the truck, asked GOD for forgiveness for the things
I said about Christmas, came back inside, kissed my wife,
spent all Christmas morning with her as she was cooking
for the family get-together and had a great time at the gathering.
The house will still be there tomorrow.

You did the right thing Dave. Way to make a decision
that will pay dividends all year long! Nice story. Now everyone is ordered to have a Happy New Year as well! :SM128: :SM058: :noel:
