I am new to this site and enjoy reading posts and researching the links available. I am also new to real estate and am in the learning phase. I have downloaded all the eBooks and look forward to reading them.
Because I will be attending a four-year university in the fall, I will be suffocated with student loans and debt. When I become very knowledgable in real estate, I want to take action. I have $5K saved and will have a job while in college. Is it possible to invest in real estate while in college? Can someone invest when in debt?
Thank you for any input.

Hi mathew,
yes to both questions. You CAN invest while in debt and YES you can do it while in school.
If you are going to wait to take action, you could have made $ to pay some of those loans :(
Read, while searching out deals. Come for advice from all the experts here and go for it !
This is a great forum and everyone is happy to share their knowledge. :)

Thank you both for replying and welcoming me! I will continue my education and get started as soon as possible.
I tried downloading A Singles Game but a message came up and wouldn't let me download it. It read:
M Aron, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons...
Am I unable to access it? I downloaded "So You Want To Be An Investor" and the four eBooks without problems.
Thank you.

Hi Matthew,
I am new in Landlording and RE too. I am 59 and retired. I certainly think it is a great idea for you to get into RE young. I wish I had. I do believe it is a better investment tool than speculating in the Stock Market.
First I would recommend reading everything that you have downloaded and many other books that will be recommended to you.
Go Slow!
Make sure your first investments are good ones. Don't take on more than you can handle. You do have school and life to deal with. Make lots of contingency plans for changes in your life.
It will be interesting how you will finance these first deals but I guess if the cash flow looks good enough you will find backers.
I wish you luck and any help I might be able to offer.
