Investors and Equity Lines

I am curious to see what all you investor gurus think about equity lines. Equity lines are, in my eyes, going to destroy mortgage brokers in the next couple of years when it comes to refinances. The banks are seeing the market and some smart banks are making much easier to get them. Thus, taking the refi away from us people who need to put food on our plates.
