3.5 acre Homestead near Independence Ave in city limits of Charlotte NC won't sell. Need advice please.

9 times out of ten places don't sell due to the price being too high. How have you marketed the place so far?

You young whippersnappers don't know what "elder" really is. Remember, Debbie, some of my classmates at SHS were probably your teachers when you went there. But I'll give you the fact that you post here all the time and have quality posts at that.
By the way, this post should make me a "senior member", and I'm really senior if you are looking at age.

:SM031: The 3.5 acres are listed for the tax value of the property only and thought it was underpriced for location. 10-15 minutes from downtown Charlotte. The house needs to be demolished, it was built in 1948 as a homestead. Oversized cinder block garage would make for a good car repair business. Property is secluded by school on one side and trees on the other. Hell, if I had the money and time, I would buy it from my wife and do something with it.
