Hi Dan,

The last edition of PC World gave a link to www.openoffice.org. It's a free site that almost exactly mirrors Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Adobe Writer. It's operation is almost identical to M.O with some wecome additions, like converting any document to a PDF with the push of a button. To purchase the M.O and Adobe writer it would be about $700.00, Openoffice is free.
I have no affiliation with them, I just think it's a great deal for someone to set up their office inexpensively.

Regards,
John.

Hey, John, thanx for the tip. It looks good, but I haven't taken the time to play with it yet. A PDF doc is a PDF doc, so I'm sure Adobe will open it. I have to wonder if their version of a powerpoint presentation can be opened by MSOffice. I'll be finding out very soon.

Here's a tip for you. By adding 'www.' in front of the URL, a link would have been created within your post when submitted.

Gotcha big guy, I went ahead and added your observation so everyone could get clickin!

Thanks John, good speaking with you earlier today as well. Dan
