Oops I accidentally posted twice so I will use this as an opportunity to edit this post and change it to say that I was suprised to see that there is not too much info out there for landlords (being such a frusterating job) to read. I am glad to see this site and the participants that it has. Thanks for the info.

Miley, we are certainly glad to have you with us but there are indeed a couple of great landlord specific sites available!
www.mrlandlord.com (http://www.mrlandlord.com)
www.thelpa.com (http://www.thelpa.com)

Are both top notch portals!

Hey! Wait a darn minute!

I am among the landlords on this website. There is a forum called "The land lords the house"

There's Nancy (MI), Aldo, myself to name a few. I know there's others as well.

Go ahead and post in that forum. We will be MORE than happy to respond!

Debbie

P.S. - Shame on you Dan :SM034:

True Debbie, we are a bunch of landlords ourselves but all the same the more information and resources the better. Point taken.

Hi. I'm a landlord too! I'm not pleased with my current credit report provider (NAIL). They're expensive and slow, and I always have to follow-up with them and re-fax my request because they never get it the first time, somehow. It doesn't help that they're on California time. My day's half over by the time they get to work! (No offense to you Cali's out there!) :SM123:

I'm looking for a good-quality (and of course low-cost) provider of credit reports to use in screening prospective tenants. Any suggestions? I had found one last year for something like $10 and used them once, and somehow lost their name/website/phone. I'm very organized and very displeased that I could have lost such a valuable resource!!!!

Anyway, I'm eager to hear your suggestions. Thanks!!!

I use this company- factual data. I do not know how they fair from a expense issue, I like that they are automated so i never fax or wait for a report. They have a online service where I enter the info and within 30 seconds I have a full report.
