I have a question, by the way im going to try flipping properties just have'nt gotton started.
My question is I live in massachusettes Im going to be flipping property in florida am I supposed to get a tax id number in MA or Fla?
Should I incorporate into a business and if so which state do I file that in also what kind? Sole proprietor, LLC,Co?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've heard it said that until you have a few under your belt that this isn't necessary, I've done more than ten in Florida and have done niether up to this point! No repercussions as of yet and some of those deals go back ten years.

I would focus on buying, fixing and selling a few first! :SM013:

For assest protection I would never go sole proprietor, So if your going to start up a LLC or corp you will need to get a Tax ID or EIN number. I would strongly advise you to seek out a good lawyer and tax adviser.
