Howard, due to a short attention span, I just found out that this is 11 AM EDT and not CDT. Every Saturday I attend a meeting from 8 AM until it ends, usually about 9:15 in real time as opposed to Eastern time. After that I have one or two required stops........blah, blah. Bottom line is that I'll catch part of you tomorrow.

Yes, a friend. I'm sorry, I didn't realize that I needed anyone's consent for that.

Why?
No special reason and nothing you need to know. I just found it curious that the email was mentioned with nothing further said about it. No offense intended; but, as a listener, I had the impression that the email was blown off for some reason, possibly because it was from another state. I'm sure that wasn't your intent, but it was the perceived appearance. Shortly after that you did identify and address another emailer and his question. I may have misunderstood something, but that won't happen again because the lab called yesterday to tell me that my brain is ready.

Brianna & I quickly spoke to Howard via radio.

Brianna kept asking us what an entity and we kept (teasingly) telling her to ask Howard. Thus, an opportunity came for us to talk to Howard for a brief question and hello. Although I have a question for Howard but Brianna really wanted to say hi to him and ask him about "What's an Entity"? Instead, she asked him why he's talking on the computer. ARGH! Sorry about that Howard. LOL. Oh well.... Had to keep it brief so that Howard could talk to other listeners.

You should've seen Brianna's face. She was so happy to talk to Howard. She wanted to talk to him more---good thing I didn't let her considering her unexpected question.

She hadn't realized that she was heard via radio. She thought Howard could only hear her via cell phone and that she could only hear him via both computer and cell phone. Once I explained it to her, she became more excited.

Glad to hear of your promotion to a 2-hour slot. That merits some super congrats. I've seen preferred long-term hosts get fired for the least of infractions. Here you are, a new guy, and you get your air time doubled in a matter of weeks.

That two hour slot works well for me. Tuning in at 10 AM (CDT) is not an easy task for me on Saturdays. I get out of a meeting between 9- and 9:30 AM and have a few stops to make after that. Now I know that I can catch at least 1/2 of your program and I look forward to that.

My tomorrow's schedule is more worser than usual due to hiring a broker to unload my former residence. We do the preliminary walk-thru at 10:30 CDT and spend the next month negotiating her commission. The realtor hasn't been born yet who actually earns 6-7% of the sale price.

I'll be there if I can, but don't hold your breath waiting to get a call from a person without young children.

DONT BE A CRAB IN A BASKET:

Does anyone else ever log on the Internet with the intention of reading something interesting or sharing information ...and then get covered up with bad attitudes (usually from people posting anonymous) that just drags you down?

"I hate ....whites, blacks, democrats, republicans, rich people, motorcycle owners, lawyers, ....blah blah blah

Any one else believe that life is more about abundance and happiness and having fun and helping others?

Attitude is everything.
You can only go one direction at a time.
You can't be spewing negative hate and also do things that are positive.

Anyone else tired of complaining and blaming and judgmental remarks and hating and bitching and whining?

To create success in our life, it is imperative that you believe that you are at the steering wheel of your life, especially your professional life.

If you don't believe this, then you must inherently believe that you have little or no control over your life, and therefore you have little or no control over your success. That is not a success attitude.

You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success, that you are the one who creates your mediocrity, and that you are the one creating your struggle around your career and success.

Blame

When it comes to why they're not successful, most victims are professionals at the "blame game." The object of this game is to see how many people and circumstances you can point the finger at without ever looking at yourself.

It's fun for victims at least. Unfortunately it's not such a blast for anyone else who is unlucky to be around them. That's because those in close proximity to victims become easy targets.

Justifying

If victims aren't blaming, you'll often find them justifying or rationalizing their situation by saying something like "Success is not really important." Let me ask you this question: If you said that your husband or your wife, or your boyfriend or your girlfriend, or your partner or your friend, weren't all that important, would any of them be around for long? I don't think so, and neither would success!

Success Principle

When you are complaining, you become a living, breathing "crap magnet."

Complaining:
Have you ever noticed that complainers have a tough life? It seems that everything that could go wrong does go wrong for them. They say, "Of course I complain-look how crappy my life is."

And now that you know better, you can explain to them, "No, it's because you complain that your life is so crappy. Shut up . . . and don't stand near me!"

stay as far away from complainers as possible because negative energy is infectious.

Howard, what you have posted is excellent and very true. There is one other item that is more important---- liking oneself and being true to oneself. Just can not beat that.

I hear what you are saying Howard but a lot of times these demons that you talk about are also within ourselves. Doubt and complaining are always a struggle with me, I work hard every day not to feel those things and learn how to filter out all of the negative. Here in my neck of the woods it is very common to hear so much fear in people's voices about the uncertainty of life and their surroundings.

That is why I read "Seven Habits of Highly Successful People" it gets me to look at life with another perspective! Crabs are apart of life in this country but it is because of so many things that have gone on in their lives but really what that behavior is, is myopic and they can't see the BIG picture. It is the people that chose to take a chance to change their reference points or truth's in their lives that see change. You gotta get into the game to play to make a difference in your life.

Sorry, Howard, missed you again - even with your extended time slot. I was with my broker running a RE market study to see what I can realistically get for the old homestead. Things aren't looking very good, but that's another story.

I usually find that to be true among negative thinkers. Most positive thinkers view their issue as a challenge. When I talk to complainers (tenants?), I try to show them error of their ways. While my words may fall on deaf ears, the message is there. After hearing that message a few times, especially from other people, they might just test a more positive approach a time or two. That will be enough for them to see the results of a positive approach.

I was able to catch a good part of your show today and that created a problem. You see, I have the eye-sicle suggested in your (too lengthy and irrelevant, imho) segment on self-defense. Hey Howard. I heard you mentioning that some people have a hard time bringing up the audiocast. I don't know how many it will help, but I had a problem too. What I did was to right-click the link and click on open link in a new window. It came right up. Hope that helps.

Methinks WTKS is discriminating against Interested Parties by scheduling your show in a time slot that doesn't work for me. I missed you today because I wasn't able to juggle my schedule, as I sometimes can, and I think they owe me for that. lol.

That would be great. Sean is much more savvy than I, so he might be better equipped to offer any help you might need, though it's really a no-brainer. In Taylor's Q&A, in the upper left corner, you'll see a link to the video pages. Click that and you'll find a link to download/install the software. After following the instructions, you should be ready to go in about 20 minutes.

Though there are chats almost nightly, the most-attended chats are on Sundays and Wednesdays from 8 PM, CDT, until you get tired of talking.

All are welcome, new gang members and leaders. We will get our own colors so you will know who we are.

We will teach teens about positive ideas like health and posture and financial success.

We will form corporations and open our own business and teach the teens how to make money.

Anyone who sees this, we need you to join our gang as leaders. We need you to get teens and kids to attend.

If you haven't already done so, I'd suggest recruiting reformed gang members, preferrably leaders, to join the NSFL gang. Locally there are a few such advocacy groups headed by former gang members/leaders. Their effect on the community has been awesome.

Hey, Howard, it's great to hear from you. Please quit being such a stranger in these parts.

Saturday mornings are nearly impossible for me to hear your show in real time, so I thank you and Sean for making it available for listening in un-real time. Last night I listened to your show and was really impressed by Joe's appearance. (That wasn't the Joe I know, but that's another story.) Both his voice and his face are ideally suited for radio. I think his voice could be good on TV as well if it becomes as good as yours.

Thanx for the great show and please stop in when time permits.
