To my friends of the Magic Bullets...

A company that i once dealt with ALOT in the home renovations, went out of business for a few months (they were a european company and pulled out of the good old USA) - I believe some of the people that worked there, still had connections and have now re-opened a store in Marietta Georgia - mind you, this is a trade only type of company, none the less - their prices are usually unbeleiveable - especially, if you are remoldelling kitchens, bathrooms, etc...

Give them a call and see if they have any catalogs. I plan on stopping over very soon and seeing what i can get from them as well...

Ok - that concludes todays bargain tip...

Granted, we're not located in GA. But, would this be good for our upcoming new home? We could use unbelievagly good prices!

Ok - just spoke with them. they are still setting up shop. They said that they will not have a showroom until 1st of august - however, they are going to get pricing out shortly. (i will share when i get that) -

I also inquired about out of towners - it seems that they can ship directly but i have to wait to talk to one of the main sales people to find that out for sure. the lady also said that they do have a website:

www.cabinet-wholesalers.com

they primarily specialize (cheaper cost:thumbup: ) with Welbourne cabinets, but carry others as well, ranging from lower end to very high end.

Stick around and if i get any more feedback, i will post...

I was just doing some estimating to replace my own kitchen. It looks like the cabinets will cost me $2,500 for their mid-grade stuff. A contractor gets a 71% discount from list price. Looks like they may be the real deal.

Um, forgive me if I'm being a dumb brunette--am I understanding this correctly?

$2500.00 x 71% off (using your contractor) = $1775.00 is the final payment?
Of course, that doesn't exclude taxes.....

"To the trade" . . . hmmm.... does that mean me? I have an LLC (Blue Sky Homes, LLC), and we are REI, and we do our own re-habbing and such (I've installed three kitchens, thank you very much--very easy). So, will they wholesale to me?

Never hurts to ask. All they may want is a tax id. Dunno

"to the trade" generally means that if you have a business license, they will sell it to you.

I went over to their temporary office last weekend and spoke with them. they have three places all around georgia. Very nice people and extremely helpful - in fact, if you are in Georgia, when they open up their Marietta office (next month) they actually will have a few computer workstations that will have software (20/20) which is a design cad program that you can use for free to design the kitchen for your clients. Speaking of which, they will also have private conference rooms that you can take your clients to so that they can touch the cabinets rather then clients just looking at pictures and not feeling the quality.

Now, back to the "trade selling" - they are not just to trade only. Customers can walk in off the street to buy (rather, order) the cabinets directly from them with a discount - just not the same discount if you are a contractor/business. Their primary lines are from Welbourne and are made in Alabama. all orders are guaranteed 3 weeks delivery. not to bad if you plan correctly.

Thats all for now... will let you know of more great bargains and tips when i find them...:SM013:

They look just like Howden's. Any affiliation?

No Affiliation... They had one guy that use to work for Howdens there, but is no longer there for whatever reason. Looking forward to our next house so that we can get some true quotes and quality checks. Their prices are definately good - quality is there... the only thing that i did not like is that it takes 3 weeks to get the cabinets, unlike Howdens that had them on site for the most part.
