NJ REI Club

Hello,

I would like to join a REI club, and there are two local to me in NJ:

MREIA- Metropolitan Real Estate Investors Association

GSREIA- Garden State Real Estate Investors Association
http://www.gsreia.com/

From the web sites, they seem very similar. Is there anybody here who has had experiences with either of these groups and can recommend one over the other?

Ian which ones location for meetings are you closest too? If all things are relatively equal I would definitely go with the one that has as many of the closest and most knowledgable contacts in my immediate area, you might attend a meeting of both organizations to actively investigate which appears better for your purposes. There is another investor on here who is in Jersey, I don't know if she is a member of either clubs or where in New Jersey she is, but you could ask...

Thanks for the tips- I dropped JerseyGirl an email, and I do plan on visiting the clubs. I was just hoping to run into some NJ people on here who might belong to one or the other.
