I ordered a return address stamp, that just got here yesterday and says
I BUY HOUSES
907-555-9976
P.O. Box 3842
Palmer, AK 99645
I figured this was an inexpensive way to advertise--has anybody else done this? or labels?

Ryan, I think it's a great idea, who knows if the postal delivery person knows knowone lives there they might call the number themselves, I would add "$500.00 reward" to get the readers attention and further action!
There are a million ways to advertise and you may have just invented another, do let us know over the course of time if it pays dividends! :mail:

That is an excellent idea! It always pays to be ingenious as far as your marketing methods go. Very unique idea and one that I believe will be widely accepted. Kudos off to you for that idea and for sharing it with us all!

I will add that to the next one I order! It is just as cheap to just order a new stamp as it is to order a new inkpad for it! I hope it works out! I also used it on some letters I sent to out of state owners!! :)

One of my next marketing tools will be shirts for our upcoming baby, that say "My Daddy Buys Houses!"
Because WHO doesn't want to hold a new baby? :)
By the way, this idea was taken right out of a book, I can't take credit for it! :)

I wouldn't use it on letters to distressed sellers because it could tip them off to what's inside and guess what? It goes in the trash, the best letter to out of state owners is a #10 with a real stamp, hand addressed with the return address just that, no name or message, just an address. You must keep them guessing and make it look personal or in the trash it goes! :candle:

Well, luckily for me, the last batch of letters I sent out were ALL hand-written (by my lovely Wife!!) and this batch hasnt got any stamps or anything yet, so I will change my tactic on most of them. :) I know I would probably throw out something with that stamp that was unsolicited!
