Some of you know that I'm involved in the community theatre where I live, lots of fun and met some good friend this way. Anyway a couple of months ago I auditioned for and did NOT get cast in a comedy. The guy I lost out to has done about 7 or 8 movies (usually an extra but he did have a line in "The Alamo" a couple of years ago.
Anyway I was helping out with organinzing things, building sets and assisting the director. After 6 weeks of rehearsal this guy BREAKS HIS LEG 3 nights before opening, d'oh! Guess who gets the call and has to try to learn 50 pages of dialog in 3 days (I actually was on stage with a script for the first 3 shows. Not a lot of time to spare the last few weeks.
But, I'm back.
