View Full Version : The Millionaire Conference
I received two complimentary tickets to The Millionaire Conference with David Bach a Best Selling author of "The Automatic Millionaire" also featuring Bob Kittell, James Smith, Wayne Gray, and Robert Bluhm. I am thinking about attending doesnt seem to be any fee but Im always a little skeptical when things seem to good to be true. Has anybody heard of any of these speakers or ever attended something similar?
If time permits I never, ever miss one of those freebies. I can honestly say that I have never, not once, walked away from one of them without having learned something, no matter how minor. When (not if) I learn something that saves me just five hundred bucks, I was effectively paid about $250/hr for my time.
I recently attended one that included free dinner. I'm thinking, "Wow! I'll spend 90 minutes and no money to learn something and even get a free hot dog". Well, after having the braised salmon dinner with all the trimmings, I spent the remainder of the 90 minutes learning something that may be of value at some time in the future. The tenant with the leaky faucet had to wait an extra day because I had to deal with a higher priority issue.
I'm not familiar with Kittell, Smith, Gray and/or Bluhm. No problem. Few, if any, of the presenters of the free seminars I've attended were or are familiar. For all I know, they could be the same folks in different clothes each time.
The bottom line to all of those free seminars is that the presenters want you to buy their proverbial 'books and tapes' because that's where they make their money.

AIR,
I haven't heard of these speakers but have attended a similar event (at least I think it was similar). It was "sponsored" by Wright Thurston. The event was a 3 day event and they even provided lunch on one day and a few drawings throughout. He had several "guest speakers" presenting on their areas of expertise. Basically, each speaker presented their system for an hour to an hour and a half and then came the high pressure sales pitch to buy their system at anywhere from $500 to $1200 if I remember correctly. They did share some good info during their presentation. A few "nuggets" meant to get you interested in their system.
Assuming this is a similar event, if you have the self discipline to not purchase anything (or very little), there may be some value in attending. You can learn some things and meet other like minded people.
If you attend, please report back.

yeah my problem is I will NEVER buy anything so in turn I feel like the whole thing could be a scam, I want to attend a seminar that is strictly going to educate me thats it!
well I think I will attend this seminar just to see if I can learn something, but does anyone have any ideas on a good seminar or class that I could take, I want to learn everything I can!

Go to local events, seminars and meetings to network with other investors, they have tons of materials, contacts and advice to give.
WOW! I am blown away, I received so much information from the conference. It went from 8:00AM til 5:00PM, every speaker had something useful to say and I learned a great deal. I have to run to class now but I will elaborate later...
Please do. It's unusual to get that much info from any seminar that's cheap or free. I'm glad that you're glad that you attended.
Your post today could serve as a great promo for the conference. I wonder what they'd be willing to pay for the right to use it in their advertising.
