I have a co-worker who has a situation he needs help with regarding one of his clients.... I'll let him explain.


Hello. My name is Stephen John-Lewis and I'm a Mortgage Banker in Manhattan. I have a client in Florida (Lake County) who has a condo worth 500K and is currently going through Foreclosure. He's looking for any possible way to get out of this mortgage but yet hold on to the property. The total payoff on the mortgage is 425k. They typically only lend on properties in the west but may make an exception in this case since it is high-end.
They have a program called "Debtor-in-Possession Financing" which may apply.
I have not used these guys but have spoken to one of the principles and they seem like decent people.
You'll have to judge for yourself.
