In our efforts to market our properties here and elsewhere I have been asked for an executive summary on them.
What is typically included in this?

I, personally. have never been asked for an executive summary and, frankly, don't even know what that is. Is this for buying, selling, or renting? Who is requesting this and why do they need it? If important to you, can you avoid the requirement with a change in marketing strategy?

All an Executive Summary is a business plan or as know in the industry is your exit strategy for the subject property.
Sound like you are dealing with someone who reads readers digest power words section.
I have dealt with this type of crack heads, so I simply tell them before we get started I will need a proof of funds and would be happy to provide The Executive Summary.
The Executive Summary needs following:
Objectives
Mission
Company Summary
Market Analysis Summary
Market Analysis
Strategy and Implementation Summary
Management Summary
Financial Plan

John Michael;
Thanks much for the info and link.
I've been dealing with quite a few "crack heads" lately but things are looking better every day. Some good leads and I'm learning how to weed them out.
I've begun a so-called Executive Summary, I call it a Development Plan, having worked with land developers for some years.
Again, thanks!
All the Best,
CharleyB
