I have looked on the forum and haven't found a thread or section for people who have websites and are looking to help promote each others websites.

Cross promoting websites are a great way to get free traffic and I just want to see if anyone on here would like to participate in cross promoting.

Wow Dan. I guess you are way ahead of me with the materials. I just planned on adding someone's website to a list of my resources and send out a e-mail to my newsletter / list.

I guess I have quite some work to do.

Perfect! I will add your site to and write about it and let my members know. Let me know your website information.

Have you been using PPC - Pay Per Click? I haven't used that yet, I have just been using the free methods of getting traffic.

Nah, I haven't really done any advertising yet. I just submitted my site to the bigger search engines. I did follow their suggestions for better rankings and faster inclusion. Seems to have worked well. I already have a short sale lead I'm working on that came from the site.

I don't use PPC because of the rampant fraud and abuse associated with it. If you decide to try it, start small, and measure, measure, measure. If it provides benefit, then expand slowly.

FWIW, I wouldn't expect great things from 99% of the PPC options out there, especially Google.

Hi,
I am a newbie to real estate investing and to mb. I am looking for the best site to locate lis pendes, auctions, fsbo, reo propeties. I subscribed to Realty Trac and Forclosure but neither are up to date. How does everyone do their searches? Do you use a site or pull directly from county public records. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
A. Arthur

Welcome to Magic Bullets Fambly!

To the best of my knowledge, there really is only one 'best' site where it up to date and reliable----your city/town/county buildings where they keep any RE information. (I know bad sentence but I'm too tired to fix it)

In case you haven't done it yet, go up above and key in the key words in the search on this website. You'll find plenty of reading for days to come!

Feel free to post any specific questions! We'll do our best to answer them.
