Hey Folks just thought I would invite everyone to post up their favorite recipe for the Holiday Season.

I'll kick this off with my favorite which I am responsible for at each Holiday feast!

These are home made noodles (Real easy and really good!)

All you need is canned chicken broth a bag of flour and a dozen eggs, That's it!

Add eggs to flour, starting out with 6 eggs to 1/4 bag of flour or so, knead the eggs and flour into a ball of dough, use a rolling pin to flatten the dough out to about 1/8 in thick, Slice into strips and drop into the medium heated broth, cook about two hours or until tender.

WARNING! You'll become addicted to these if you try it!:SM058:

I believe they are good and I say that because I use the same ingedients in proportionately smaller amounts to make the dumplings for my Chicken & Dumpling Soup. The dumplings are great and I never thought of making noodles out of that goo. That's now on my to-do list.

I usually don't do the Christmas Dinner, so I have nothing Christmasy to offer; but, when Turkey Day comes up in '07, let's remember to resurrect this thread. I have a dynamite recipe for cranberry relish and a recipe for giblet dressing that's to die for. Each takes less than an hour to build and can be prepared ahead of time.

Although I didn't really have to cook holiday meals this year, keep those and any recipes coming for the next 11 months.

There will be a new tradition, at the new house, that I will be doing majority of the cooking for the holidays.....
