Appreciation Rates

Hello all, I just found out how much property in my area (Mat-Su Valley, Alaska) have appreciated in the last year, and so it led me to be curious about how the markets are elsewhere. If you know how much property has appreciated in your area, please post it here! :)

I thought I was living in THE hot area in Anaheim, where properties appreciated 16.9% in one year!! Well, I guess I am in a hot market right now as well!! I found out yesterday that property around here has appreciated 24% in the last 12 months.

Here in Savannah, GA

Our rates are hitting within the past 5 yrs I would say around. low to mid teens avg; Historical rehabs are HOT HOT high teens, and up.

Plus we investors are having to compete with the city for deals.

We are at about 25-30% here in Phoenix, Arizona. I actually found an interesting statistic from a realtor friend of mine. Last year at this time there were appx 53000 homes listed for sale. Right now there are appx 5700. Crazy :madnoel: !
