Hi,

With regards to this section below quoted from today's issue of, "Early to Rise," ezine, I have a question:

____________________________________________

Wealth in the U.S. -- by the Numbers

According to the Census Bureau, there are 111 million households in the U.S. Excluding the value of primary residences:

* 9 million households have a net worth of more than $500,000.
* 5 million households are worth at least $1 million.
* Half a million households are worth $5 million or more.

How reliable is a person's representation of their "net worth?" Since the self-employed / business owner / operators adjust figures to reflect projected incomes, expenses, etc.., how reliable are these net worth estimates above?

One reason I ask is that in my neighborhood, my family is listed in a top income bracket in one of those major directories people are always using for lists (can't think of the name of-hand.). And you wouldn't believe the marketers for this area -- --tons of telemarketing, door-to-door, etc. It's totally ridiculous. And neighbors here and my family especially do not have any income that they report in those brackets.

Plus what about property tax / property value increases? We probably don't even need to go there. ....

Or maybe we do...????

So based on this, the above stats are most probably only very general estimates......??

Thanks!
