Targeting Out-Of-State Homeowners?

Hey guys,

I am looking for information on how to:

1) Locate and identify out of state landowners
2) effectively market to these people.

I understand that most people would suggest direct mail, either a letter or a postcard. That's a terrific idea that I am exploring. Any comments on that technique, or either of the two above?

Anything you might be able to offer me would be great!

Husky, I have a course by Kathy Kennebrooke that nails the out of state owner process to the wall! Go to www.realestatecoursereviews.com and investigate getting Kathys Marketing course. Yes indeed it is! That is it, and to be quite honest, Tim Randle the owner over there has got a great price on it! Go and buy it and if it isn't as good as I say. Then send it to me and I'll give you every penny you paid for it! I like to back up my recommendations by putting my money where my mouth is! :D
