Hey Guys,

The people who need to move (and sell) quickly because they have just been transferred to a new location with work is an interesting type of motivated seller I am interested in targeting.

Does anyone out there have any ideas about how to generate these kinds of leads on an even SOMEWHAT consistent basis?

Or any ideas on how to target them with a marketing strategy?

No idea is too outlandish to suggest, I will hear out all comers!

Thanks!

Welcome to the family here Husky, Great question and I really like the way you have asked it, your style leaves the door wide open for all conceivable possibilities. Let the brainstorms begin! :SM117:

Since you have left the door wide open I will storm in with a couple ideas:
#1. Take a relocation counselor to lunch and begin picking their brains with this same question!
#2. Pay a bird-dog fee to an insider at the big corporations personnel divisions in your area!
#3. Establish relations with big cross country moving co's, IE...Atlas Van Lines to see who is scheduling moves.
Different angle is checking new unemployment applications, may be harder though.
I hope more people come up with some ideas, I know there are plenty more ideas out there on this one! :beerchug:

They may be the best of all because if the folks still have the house and they HAVE to leave, then I think they will be pretty motivated to make someone a very good deal on the way out the door!

I have a property under contract where they had to leave in a hurry, and now they are across the country. Needless to say they were PLENTY motivated and gave a NICE discount, which will make for a NICE profit! :)
