I've heard that American Express has a program that will allow you to pay your mortgage using their card. I can't remember where I heard this however.

Interesting idea.
Never tried it, but, how about this...........
Simply set up online accounts for the mortgages, most have a web prescence these days for account management and easy payments etc.
Then, set up thru the mortgage lender, to have your mortgage payment pulled from your credit card monthly, on a schedule.

Then, set up online banking with a decent bank, and have that make e-bill payments, when rent comes in, and mortgages are due, to the credit card companies.
This way, miles acrue, and monthly balances get paid off.........with rents.

Hmmmmmmmmm?

That's worth a shot. I know in Alaska they used credit cards to pay for just about everything to get those Alaska Air miles from Alaska Airlines. Food for thought!
