Hello there. My name is Brian and I just wanted to see if there was anyone in the NYC real estate industry that was interested in mentoring or looking for any help.

Judging by the lack of traffic in this forum, I'm guessing this is a shot in the dark. However, I'd be remiss for not trying.

Anyway, I'm a 25 year old college graduate with a degree in Entrepreneurship. I am interested in learning anything and all I can about the real estate world in New York City. I currently have completed my NYS salesperson's course from The Real Estate Institute in Manhattan and I am a LICENSABLE real estate agent (I have not been assigned my license to any specific agency, as of yet).

I have dabbled a bit in the apartment brokering aspects of real estate and have found it to not be what I'm looking for. I am not a fan of sales, per se, and I am much more suited to the research and locating-properties with potential side of the business.

So, if you think you could use a little help or you feel like giving a newbie some pointers on how to get a bite out of the Big Apple, please let me know and I'll send over contact info and a formal resume.

Thanks for any help and your time; it is appreciated.

Sincerely,
Brian

Lack of traffic? Huh. I hadn't noticed. I'll have to check it out.

In the meantime, send private mail to "Tim". He's the owner of www.realestatefieldguide.com and he's GOOD! Plus, he's one of the moderators here.

Tell him I sent you to him. He just may know someone in NYC.

Thanks, Debbie. I definitely didn't mean the "lack of traffic" comment as an insult; it just seemed like it had been awhile since the last post in the New York section.

I'll definitely shoot Tim a PM. Thank you so much for the tip. Take care.
