I would post up your request in the state specific forum for best results Joe. Thanks for joining up. I'm originally from East Detroit.

I didn't know you are from Detroit?
Most of my family live up in Detroit.
I use to visit in the summer and cruise Telegraph with my cousin. Go to Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford museum. Wow!, what great memories.
I have attended football games at the Silverdome, got to see Mark "The Bird" Fidrych pitch in Tiger Stadium, etc.
Small world.

I did all the same things you did Bernie. We lived in Roseville in East Detroit but my Dads side of the family lived in Dearborn so we to did the village and museums, tiger stadium and the bird as well.

My first cousin's husband worked in Highland Park for a long time as a fireman. A real dangerous place from what I remember.
Use to drive over the Ambassador bridge and visit Windsor Canada.
Also, drove that scary tunnel under the Detroit River. Use to see water run down the walls.

Yeah we used to shoot over and under to Canada as well. Pipe bombs, Mace, Bricks, Bats, chains, Knives, gangs it certainly was an experience growing up in Detroit.

Yeah Detroit has many great things but our economy over the last 3 or 4 years has gotten so bad with all of the manufacturing going overseas. As a result the crime rate has been going up and people in droves have been losing their homes, itr's kind of a mess.
