I want to be real clear about the process.

NCND, LOI, POF, Fee understanding and then MFA ...
simple -- done it gets a tape -- not done or argued

Not coming to pick a fight, but I am here to offer some real insight into this market that really does exist but most are really lost. Don't take this the wrong way Andrey but GET OUT!!!!

You are way, way lost in a world that does NOT exist. Oh my gosh these numbers are just insane! Let's talk about this for a second and hopefully you stop chasing rainbows.

A pool of REO is typically between 20 Million to 120 Million. These pools are issued from the "players" on Wall Street or real companies that have that where with all. (More on who later). Now Let's just say we are playing with the big boys like oh Merrill Lynch. Our friends at Merrill service many assets and many of those assets have gone into default and been forced to foreclose. So now, not sure if you remember but Merrill reported a 3rd Quarter Loss of a little over 7 BILLION Dollars in 2007. This was an indirect mis-management of their holding derivatives of mortgage backed instruments. So let's take a look at the notion of the REO sale pool of 1 Billion Dollars at the perscribed price of 30 cents on the dollar.

So the loss of that pool is 700 Million Dollars. So they just "decided" to take a 700 Million dollar loss? What effect does that have to the stock holders of that company? Well, let's see, they would only be able to drop out 10 Packages like that at 1 Billion dollars. The post here has ...dare I say it a "Trillion" in it and double digit even triple digit Billion numbers. The day Merrill reported that loss they lost $15.00 or so per share on their stock, it was a disaster.

Why on earth would they in one transaction ever, ever take a loss...in one transaction? It's still real estate, the market will turn around. Well the answer is they would not ever do something like that.

The next problem is just how many units do you think would be in a billion dollar package, well let me give you some insight somewhere around 15 Thousand. So to purchase that package you have to do 15,000 BPO's and you have to do 15,000 Deeds and record them all, etc. Just how long do you think that would take? Based on that time frame, how much is the risk of error?

Let's not forget just why if Merrill Lynch or UBS or Bank of America really wanted to sell that much product, why would a "street broker" ever, ever know about it? Do we think that they do not sell to other banks or financial institutional? Bank of America if they truly needed to move that much product at one time would ONLY goto an institution so as to not risk NON-PERFORMANCE.

I would also like to know just how many asset managers could be fired at any firm because they no longer have any assets to manage.

I return to my original statement, get out of the business that you are not in, please for your own good these transactions you speak of are not real and you are truly wasting your time. Then again, I may not "know" what I am talking about and common sense may not prevail and then Cats may become dogs...you never know!
