Oh! My bad, man!

:xxrotflma

I'm trying to stop laughing!

:xxrotflma

Give me a moment while I pick myself off the floor and pull my laughing cheeks down....

:xxrotflma

Okay. I'm breathing in and out very slowly so I don't fall off my chair and laugh again...

Whew! Okay, Air. As soon as my hubby's Tech guy comes over tomorrow night and help me figure out how to take care of Netgear Router, Linksys, wireless laptop & wired desktop networking thingies and SECURE it, I'll get back to you.

I used to use Linksys gear, what is the problem? If you want send me a PM with and phone number and we can walk through it.

Tim,

If the Tech guy doesn't make it for whatever reason tomorrow night, may I be bold and ask if I or Jeff give you a buzz?

Of course, it won't be via videocam since my laptop doesn't connect anymore but we could do it via skype on old desktop.

Pretty please? With Baskin Robbin's Chocolate Fudge on a sugar cone on top?

Your new ISP must have the router's MAC address. After that it's simply a matter of running the setup wizard on the provided software.

First we contacted Dell. They took care of the problem via "GoToAssist". Worked fine for about a day then Netgear simply disappeared.

Had Jeff's co-worker (computer geek) to resolve the problem. Turned out that somehow, somewhere Dell didn't complete it and that our neighbor's wi-fi overrode our Netgear. Problem resolved.

Don't ask me for details at this point because it's slightly over my head. One of these days, I'll learn more...

Tim thank you very much for taking the time to help me. I don't understand how you could fix my problem with in 15 mins. When I spent 3 hours with Linksys:SM061: tech support and they didn't do a thing. YOU ROCK!!!!!:praise: :praise: :praise:

yes, you use their included CD disk and
the system does the rest. I have had no trouble
with mine for 1 yr.

Trouble free for 1 year? What happened, did it give you trouble?
