Hey everyone, I was just curious if I could get an analysis of a leaking problem. The problem is actually at my grandma's house, but I told her I would get some better insight and perhaps costs. Here are some pictures. The cast iron wall heater appears to have a small leak in the piping which has been there for a long time. She had another leak in the heater too but she just covered it up, so now they appear to be quite rusty. One of the pictures displays the problem from above the floor where it is leaking downloads. This has already puddled under her kitchen tile. The rest of the pictures show from beneath and it appears that it has splintered and blackened the wood.

I would contact a local contractor or home inspector to get their opinion. Water can create more problems than just what is seen in the pictures.

I would say you have more than one problem going on at this point. I would call...
1) A plumber who knows these heaters
2) A contractor that can rip up flooring and replace it
3) A handy man less skilled that the contractor to do the demo
