When using bandit signs and other marketing materials it is sometimes beneficial to have an untraceable phone number for privacy and security. In Jim FL's Subject to Course he explains a fail proof way to handle this.
Someone on another forum suggested this privacy service as another way of remaining anonomous - "Vumber"-
http://www.vumber.com/
If this service is reliable, it is certainly priced right - $4.99/month special pricing now. (The regular monthly price is $10). There privacy policy states the only way they will reveal a subscriber's personal information is by court order.
I googled "Vumber" and came up with a lot of reviews of the service. However, since the company apparently is a fairly new start-up, not a lot of it was helpful in determing it's reliability. Here is one review:

Have you folks any experience with this service?
