has anyone here had any success with realtytrac.com as far as using them to find leads & things like that?

I was wondering if this would be a good idea for me

thoughts?

Use the search tab at the top of the page and type in realtytrac and you'll get couple of threads that discuss it.

It's good to see you around the neighborhood again!

Hiya Tee!
I used RealtyTrac for the duration of the free 2 week trial, and unlike several other users, I actually found it quite useful. Most people complain about dated information, which I believe holds true for many areas. I think my area is simply in a class of its own due to the lack of population. :) Try it out for the free two weeks, there's nothing to lose. :)

One of those other threads was me asking the same question and really not getting much of a response. I have been all over the web and really not found anyone that uses or recommends realtytrac or any of the other sites for that matter.

I will say Realtytrac did have a few houses in my area that were not listed in the MLS and were in fact still empty. I think Realtytrac may have some potential but not enough to be your only source of properties.

For anyone that is interested, the attached file is a sample of a realtytrac listing I pulled when I was using the 7 day trial. I am trying to figure out a way to post a picture of this house but it is to big.
