Auction in Albany County was yesterday -- my partner and I went and yes we did bid on the one house we were really looking at...
There were lots of investors there and many were there specifically for this one house -- but the bid went up to $140,000 -- which really didn't leave much room for a resale -- The winner was a young family who are going to do the work themselves and live in it. They did get a good deal and they were happy!
My partner and I certainly learned a lot by being there -- and met some really nice informative people. So -- it was a success for us!
Thanks to all who share your questions and knowledge here at this forum! I am feeling more and more comfortable with all of this because of all this info here!
